Step 1 - Club Registration

To register for the upcoming winter season, click on the above Icon and follow the instructions. Also see FAQ #4 and FAQ #7.
Registration closes October 10, 2026 @11:59 pm. We encourage athletes who are playing fall school sports to register before our registration deadline. Our first practice will be on November 2, 2026. There will also be mandatory parent meeting on November 2, 2026.

Step 3 - Athlete Uniform Order (Mandatory)

Because Spike Up Athletics is a competitive track and field club, it's important that our athletes looks like a team and represents our club in the best light possible. As a result, we require two uniforms: (1) a competition uniform, and (2) a travel uniform. For both our fall/winter and summer outdoor season, the competition uniforms will be the same, and we will loan the athlete a competition uniform provided we have one available to loan. However, our travel uniforms will be different for each of our seasons due to seasonal temperature differences.

Competition and Travel Uniform
Click on the link below to provide competition uniform sizes, order the travel uniform, or both. Once in the store, you can click on the photo of each item to view the sizing chart. If the athlete competed with Spike Up Athletics last summer season, he/she will not need to order the the travel uniform again unless a new one is needed because of growth, or because the previous one was lost or damaged. The only other time a travel uniform must be reordered is when the uniform supplier no longer carries or stocks the previous uniform that was ordered.
Fittings for the Travel Uniform will take place at the first practice on November 2nd. Athletes must place and pay for their travel uniform order before November, 20 2026, 11:59 pm.
Step 4 - BAND App Account
The BAND app is how our team will communicate. The team manager or head coach will send text announcements and reminders to both athletes and parents.

Once the athlete's parent/guardian completes steps 1, 2 and 3 above, please immediately complete this step (but only if you don't currently have a BAND app account for Spike Up Athletics) so that you don't miss important EARLY communications. You'll also be able to check the app to get caught up on any previous information already communicated prior to you or your athlete registering.
For safety reasons, please do not allow athletes younger than 13 years old to create their own BAND account. We will monitor the BAND app to remove all users who are not 13 or older.
Step 5 - Affiliation Membership

Click on each of the above icon to find instructions for obtaining the athlete's new club affiliation membership or to renew a membership from a previous season or competition year.
DO NOT PURCHASE A MEMBERSHIP UNTIL AFTER NOVEMBER 1, 2026. IF YOU PURCHASE THE MEMBERSHIP BEFORE NOVEMBER 1ST, YOU WILL END UP PAYING FOR A MEMBERSHIP TWICE.
Athletes cannot compete in USATF sanctioned events under the Spike Up Athletics name without this membership. Total cost for the youth membership is $35. Total cost for the adult athlete membership is $65. Total cost for the non-competing adult membership is $65.
Deadline For Purchasing the Membership: November 16, 2026.
