Athletes who place in the top 8 at national track & field competitions are awarded All-American status. In our short history since 2019, we've had 1 National Champion award and 7 All-American awards between 4 athletes.
Everett Metier
Long Distance Athlete
1-time National Champion and 1-time All-American in the 3000 Meters
Everett first joined Spike Up Athletics in the summer of 2023. Everett competed at the 2024 USATF National Junior Olympics becoming Spike Up Athletics' first national champion in the men's 17-18 age group of the 3000 meters. With his victory, Everett also became our 7th All-American and our highest decorated athlete to date.
Sophia Krzemien
Middle & Long Distance Athlete
3-time All-American; 2 Times in the 2K Meter Steeplechase, and 1 Time in the 1500 Meters
Sophia first joined Spike Up Athletics in the fall of 2021. Sophia became our 2nd All-American at the 2022 USATF National Junior Olympics in which she placing 6th in the girl's 15-16 age group of the 1500 meters.
Sophia became our 4th All-American at the 2023 USATF National Junior Olympics in which she placed 8th in the women's 17-18 age group of the 2k meter Steeplechase.
Sophia became our 6th All-American at the 2024 USATF National Junior Olympics in which she placed 4th in the women's 17-18 age group of the 2k meter Steeplechase. With this placement, Sophia became Spike Up Athlete's most decorated athlete to date.
Sophia is now on academic scholarship at Westminster University in Salt Lake City, Utah, and competes on their cross country and track & field teams.
Caleb Washington
Sprinter, Long Jumper, Triple Jumper
1-time All-American in the Triple Jump
Caleb is an original member of Spike Up Athletics, joining us in our inaugural season in the fall of 2019. Caleb became our 5th All-American at the 2023 USATF National Junior Olympics in which he placing 3rd in the men's 17-18 age group of the Triple Jump.
Caleb is now on athletic scholarship athlete at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, competing on the track & field team.
Abagail Krzemien
Middle Distance Athlete
2-time All-American in the 800 and 1500 meters
Abagail is an original member of Spike Up Athletics, joining us in our inaugural season in the fall of 2019. Abby became our 1st All-American at the 2022 USATF National Junior Olympics in which she placing 8th in the women's 17-18 age group of the 800 meters.
At that same NJO, Abby also became our 3rd All-American in which she placed 6th in the women's 17-18 age group of the 1500 meters.
